Ender's Game

By Orson Scott Card. sci-fi.

This was in my reading list for quite sometime. Finally.

Gov takes away the little Ender Wiggin when he was six to train for the upcoming (?) invasion by the buggers (aliens). Ender will be put into the training in battlestar school in preparation to command the International Fleet against the aliens. The games are brutal. Sometime it's too realistic.

It's an easy read and highly recommended.

Recently Read: Immortal Games

Immortal Games by David Shenk.

It's very interesting and very well written about the games (chess) origin, how it spread and it's impact on the players and societies with the backdrop of the 1850's immortal game. 5 Stars. Highly recommended.
